Joya 2013 – What a blast !

JOYA – Barcelona Contemporary Jewellery Fair is the main international contemporary jewellery event in Spain. In its fifth edition, JOYA joins different entities and associations related to signature jewellery bringing a unique opportunity for students, new designers and established creators to exhibit and sell their collections.

Organized by Paulo Ribeiro and Anthony Chevallier (Le Département) and curated by Piotr Rybaczek (La Basílica Galería), Petra Marín (Grupo Duplex), Ricardo Domingo (JORGC) and the contemporary artist Florence Croisier, whose work features this year’s edition of the fair, the event has grown steadily over these past years.

This years edition was particularly beautiful, well marketed and the number of visitors has grown exceptionally.1391455_626596397392577_1415715782_n

The fair offered an extensive programme of lectures and side events and is developing to one of the major events dealing with contemporary jewellery in Europe.

Alchimia has been part of it since the very beginning and this year several alumni were present with their own stands.
