THE SECOND SHOW OF THE 1X1 COLLECTIVE

INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY EXHIBITION IN FLORENCE

IT IS ALWAYS AN ENORMOUS PLEASURE WHEN AN INITIATIVE CONTINUES AND GROWS FROM ONE YEAR TO THE OTHER. THIS IS CERTAINLY THE CASE WITH 1X1 COLLECTIVE.

Opening hours:
Mon-Tue-Wed 4.30 – 7.00 pm
Thu-Fri 4.30 – 9.00 pm
Sat-Sun 11.00 am – 9.00 pm

Inauguration Wednesday December 7th at 7pm.

On 24th, 26th and 31st 11am – 6pm.
Closed on 25th.

After last years great success, this year 1×1 collective decided to extend the temporary shop for the whole month of December. From the 7th until the 31st at Entr’arte space, via de’ Serragli 79r (Santo Spirito), you will be able to discover original jewellery pieces made by 12 international jewellery artists.

As for every 1×1 event, the selection of pieces is absolutely new and exclusive. Only unique, hand made pieces for someone who is looking for something special and non commercial. The collective will introduce new artists and showcase both traditional and experimental techniques and materials.

Hosted by the space Entr’arte, the exhibition will be open daily, including weekends till 9pm. The artists and makers want to share  not only contemporary jewellery but also the thought process and story behind each original piece.

Present: Corea with Eunjae Baek, Germany with Marlene Beyer and Isabel Dammerman, Spain with Andrea Coderch, Italy with Margherita de Martino Norante, Eugenia Ingegno and Gabi Veit, Belgium with Elinor de Spoelberch, Taiwan with Wen-Hsien Carissa Hsu, Japan with Sayaka Ito, Canada with Geraldine Nishi, Brazil with Anna Helena Van De Pol de Deus.
